I'm selling MAC Creme Cup lipstick which I bought the other day. Its a gorgeous nude pink colour which i love but unfortunately it doesn't suit me. I'm definitely annoyed at this as i liked it so much yet just seems a waste for it to be sitting in my draw. I have swatched this one, its a cremesheen lipstick and comes with the box. I'll be selling it for £12 including postage to the UK. If you're interested and would like to know more/contact me feel free to email me; fiona_cleaver@hotmail.com xxx

Beauty Tip From Cheryl Cole
If anyone has twitter and follows Cheryl Cole they will know that she's prone for her random tweets and she happened to post a beauty tip; which i think it's very handy!
"*Beauty Tip* for unruly eyebrows.. wash out an old bristle tip mascara brush and leave it to dry overnight.. spray on a little it of Elnett and brush it over your eyebrows.. it'll keep them in place for the night ;-)"
Personally i think this tip is brilliant! As soon as i saw her tweet i washed a mascara brush i no longer used and found out my Cheryl Cole limited edition Elnett (coincidence?) and did exactly what the woman herself said. I found it works very well for training your eyebrows to grow in the direction you want them to! It makes such a difference for me, i do it at night and after i've applied my makeup, and will do this for a very long time! Thankyou Cheryl.

My Top 3 Mascaras
After using many mascaras i have currently discovered my top three favourites in my collection. Without fail i will use on of these on a daily basis as i love the finish they give. I think to get the perfect mascara you have to 'like' he brush it comes with, personally i don't think the formula of the product matters as much.
Firstly i have the Loreal Volume Million Lashes which i found love for after borrowing my mums. I love the way it coats the lashes in just the right amount of mascara to make them long, thick and dramatic without leaving them clumpy. I find this mascara out of these three hold the best curl that my eyelash curlers create.
Secondly I have the Bourjois Paris Elastic Mascara which is stated on the bottle/tube 'stretchable formula 130% more visible length' I do agree with the fact that it makes my lashes longer, this mascara doesn't clump my lashes but gives enough volume for them to stand out. I wear this mascara for the more natural effect as it doesn't make the eyes look dramatic.
Finally i have my newest love of mascaras. Rimmel London Glam'Eyes Day 2 Night Mascara which is a mascara with a 2 in 1 magic cap. I love the fact this has two brushes in it, in the picture about the volume wand is pictured. The volume wand gives the perfect volumeised lashes whereas the lengthening one coats the lashes but doesn't really appeal to me. I use this mascara by using the lengthening wand first and then the volume one on top, a perfect mascara combo! I am definitely going to be repurchasing this mascara for a while.
Are any of these mascaras in your favourites? xxx

Bonfire Night
This is abit of a late post but i thought i would share what i got up to on bonfire night. I went to a gorgeous stately home named Ragley Hall that is near me. I love this place and always visited the adventure park when i was little and have always dreamed about getting married here!
Its honestly stunning.
I went the previous year and this year it was so much better. The bonfire was lit at 6 o'clock and then we had entertainment of the local radio dj's, live singers and a fire breather!!! I'd never seen a fire breather but oh my god! That man had some balls, its outrageous. We then enjoyed 20 minutes of gorgeous fireworks. Did you all enjoy bonfire night? xxx

Minx Nails!
On monday i did a training course to be qualifited in minx nails. I found it very interesting and im yet to decided whether i like the outcome of the look that minx give which is why i decided to do this post. I had heard of minx before but never looked into it or had it done on myself. For those who dont know minx is a solid film with an adhesive backing that is heat activated by an infared lamp. The heat gives the minx the conformability to fit over the compound curve of a nail and seals the film onto the bed. Minx comes in many different shades and patterns and is also very popular in America especially with the celebrities; Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Beyonce and Rihanna.
They are very quick to apply, you do a quick manicure including filing the nails into shape pushing back cuticles and then dehydrating the nail. Once thats done you heat up the hands under the infared lamp and heat up the minx sheet. Then selecting the correct size minx for the nail apply to the nail by aligning the curved end of the minx up close, but not touching the eponychium gently pull and fold the excess minx over the free edge and secure under the finger. Then you need to allow to fully cool. Once cooled take a nail file at a 45 degree angle to the free edge to remove excess minx.
However im not sure whether i like minx on the hands? It only lasts about 1 week on the hands where as the toes they grow out which is pretty good, after a day or two i have got used to it and do like it, but i love it on my toes more! What do you all think? Have you had minx before? xxx

Foundation Alert!
After Receiving my Studio Fix Fluid in NC15 sample i instantly fell in love with it and couldn't believe i hadn't tried this foundation. I straight away headed to the MAC website and ordered myself a bottle. It's by far the best foundation i've used (Estee Lauder Double Wear coming second obviously!) It gives me the perfect amount of coverage that truly lasts all day on my skin. I also believe it's one of MACs cheapest foundations, you can pick it up here for £19.50.
I've read many posts saying this foundation is peoples favorites so is it yours? If not what is yours? xxx

RAWWWW!
*PICTURE HEAVY POST;)* I was in desperate to find a new hairdryer need as my old loved hairdryer couldn't decide whether it wanted to work or not. The other week when i was down at the beach i ventured round boots when this little beauty caught my eye. It's a Mark Hill Professional Shine & Style Pro-Power Dryer (sounds fancy aye?) It's a 2000w hair dryer so has super fast drying time, me having fine hair it literally takes me 10 minutes maximum and about 15 minutes if i blow-dry it properly. What drew me to this hair dryer is the super cute limited editionness. It's a fancy purple and pink leopard zebra combo! It's so unusual and girly I simply couldn't resist! I picked this beauty up for £29.99 while it was half price. I believe this is limited edition for christmas, Mark Hilll has also release a curling wand to match and a leopard print hair dryer and wand.
So what's so special about this hair dryer i hear you may ask? It has a salon professional 3m cord(!), it has conditioning ionic technology which creates smooth, shine frizz-free hair every time, it can create and hold any look with 3 heat/2 speed settings plus a cool shot, and the super fast 2000w AC long life motor for professional use.
The hair dryer also came with three different nozzles. One narrow concentrator nozzle and two different unique styling attachment yo straighten, life and smooth the hair. For me the brush like one helps me get lots of volume in my hair and it's perfect to use when blow drying. As well as the hair dryer i also received a 'style guide' booklet!
The only downside of this hair dryer is that the power buttons are positioned awkwardly and i often catch them whilst drying my hair meaning the turn off or change to a different setting. Mark Hill Has been twice British hairdresser of the year, twice international hairdresser of the year and celebrity hairdresser of the year. This also persuaded me to pick this hair dryer, this must mean its good right?
Do you think this is as cute as much as i do? xxx

Hot Cloth Cleanser
I simply bought this No7 Radiance Boosting Hot Cloth Cleanser as iu ad a £5 off voucher and it seems to have the same concept as the Liz Earl Hot Cloth Cleanser but i have never tried Liz Earl so i can't do a comparision but i can tell you that i do love this product! I picked it up for £5 as it did have £5 off so i couldn't go wrong.
No7 say enjoy the luxury of a spa facial in the comfort of our own home with this dual action cleanser. The combination of this rich indulgent cleanser and the gentle exfoliating muslin cloth whisks away dead skin cells and daily grime whilst stimulating circulation, leaving your skin deeply clean, soft and radiant.
I can pretty much say all of the above is true. I'm so glad i picked this up and added it into a new skincare routine that seems to be working well for me. The formula of the cleanser is a lovely thick rich cream like cleanser that is easily rubbed onto dry skin in circular motions taking off every trace of makeup. Its the rubbed off with the muslin cloth whilst you are also exfoliating the face. I double cleanse and night and just cleanse once in the morning. I'm definitely going to boots to pick up another.
Have any of you tried a hot cloth cleanser? xxx

NOTD Shellac
I'm currently wearing a shellac manicure on my nails. We learnt how to apply it at college this week which is the reason as to why i have it. I think its really interesting and i do really like it. Shellac is a gel polish that lasts for about 2 weeks and doesn't chip, it also stays super shinny. It has no drying time and it doesn't damage your nails in anyway! The colour i chose was 'Gotcha'.
Have you tried shellac or any other branded gel polish? xxx

Sun, Sea, Sand!
Yesterday me and some of the family took a trip to our closest beach which is Weston Super Mare which is about an hour and 45 minutes away to spend the day their as with this 'heatwave/Indian summer' we knew it would be a good idea. I love visiting Weston as i go more than once every year. The day was full of shopping, sunbathing, going in the sea, walking along the beach, having a barbecue on the beach, being in a bikini and not looking out of place, being wolf whistled at (mahosive cringe) and going on the new pier (the old one burnt down) The beach was very busy, and the drama happened before we left. Lots of police cars 3 fire engines and rescue people as two girls went too far out and got stuck in the mud! And then a family lost a baby girl which one women luckily handed into the police and then found her parents after they realised she was missing. Hoping to go back to the beach next weekend if the weather stays lovely. Who would of thought it could be this hot in October let alone in England?
View from the walkway on the pier.
Another view from the walk way.
Inside the new pier, rides, go karts, air hockey (which i love!) and loads more- basically a massive arcade with a couple of restaurants and there is even a cafe/room type thing you can have your wedding reception at! Fancy aye?
Have any of you visited Weston? What have you all been up too during this belated summer?? xxx

My Witch Prize!
The other week i was lucky enough to win one of the new Witch Anti-Blemish Liquid Concealer over at Sarah's blog. I did take me a while to receive my concealer but i cant really complain as it was a prize and Holly at Witch was very kind in sorting that out. So the other day my Concealer came through my door and i was very excited about trying it.
Witch Anti-blemish Liquid Concealer is specially formulated for oily/combination skin. Enriched with antibacterial actives, it helps target spots and blemishes while smoothly covering them helping you to achieve a clear looking complexion instantly. Providing medium coverage and a natural matte finish, the lightweight formulation is also suitable for use under eyes, and great for reducing redness around the nose. The concealer targets and conceals spots and blemishes and hides imperfections. It's fragrance free, oil free and dermatologically tested.
I have previously liked Witch products which is why i was excited to try it and im happy with the results. The box is packed with interesting information you need to know about the product, how to apply it and all the ingredients. I've had really clear skin recently (touch wood) so havent had any major blemishes to cover, but i do have some scars from blemishes to cover and they covered like a treat. The medium creamy coverage doesn't go on cakey, it goes on smooth when blended into the skin.I chose the shade 01light and its great for covering dark circles, although the box suggests to avoid contact with eyes therefore you do need to be careful with it. The sleek pen like packaging is great for popping in your handbag in case you need to touch up throughout the day. The concealer is priced at £6.99 for 10ml.
Have any of my wonderful followers tried and Witch products?xxx

MAC Customer Service
This is just a quick ramble on how i love the MAC customer service they have recently given me! Customer Service for me is important so i think everyone everywhere should be treated how i was!
Last Wednesday i was looking on their site for a new foundation and was really wishing i could have help from a member of staff at MAC, but unfortunately i couldn't as my nearest store is in Milton Keynes which is an hour and a bit away from me or Birmingham and i just didn't have time to travel there and back. I then thought i would find an email address to see whether there was an option for a sample or some advice. I found the email an artist button and that is what i did. You have to fill out a couple of details about your skin and makeup preferences and then write what you want to discuss. Over the weekend i had then forgot about me emailing MAC and just decided to take the plunge and buy the MAC studio sculpt and on Monday i got an email reply from Liz a makeup artist at MAC! I was shocked to even see i had a reply but the email was packed with lots of information and told me they would love to help me find a foundation! Liz then told me how to find my undertone so here is a tip for any of you if you don't know your MAC shade you simply just clench your fist - if your knuckles appear white you are an NC shade (yellow) and if your knuckles appear more pink you are an NW shade (pink) that's easy right? So after finding out i was NC15 which id guessed i was anyway i told Liz and then asked her to recommend me a foundation as i told her about my skin type. I then got another email from Liz with the recommended foundation, she recommended Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 Foundation provides medium-full coverage, she told me lots about the foundation, how i should apply this and how i could built more coverage with it.
I then sent her my address and awaited my foundation sample and it came this morning! horaayyy!! Not only did i just get a sample of the foundation the lovely girls at MAC also send me some prep + prime to pop under it. I was so happy to receive this brilliant service! I didn't think i would end up with a sample but it only took 3 days to come when i was told to allow 7-10 days! I think this MAC service needs to get more credit! They are great.
If you want to email an artist click here to do so.
Please note: Samples of foundation are available to customers who live out with a 20 mile radius of a MAC Store or Counter. Should you have access to a MAC Store or counter we advise that you pop in and an Artist will be happy to provide you with a sample of foundation that you wish to try if not I would be happy to organise a sample for you. MAC also never asked me to do this review, i'm doing it as i'm guenuiely happy with this service.

Hot Shots Review!
You might of previously seen a haul featuring these about a month a go i believe and i have only just got round to using them! My hair was feeling like straw the other night so when i had a bath a wacked one of these beautys on my hair!
Lee Stafford says Hot Shots 2 Minute Miracle Repair Kit is a self-heating conditioning treatment with Pro-Repair™ which gets to the root of the problem by targeting dry and damaged hair to leave it healthy and beautifully conditioned. This intensive treatment is designed especially for damaged hair, with the Pro-Repair™ complex of Soy, Amino Acids and a Replenishing active, strengthening, replenishing and restoring the integrity of the cuticle and optimising the moisture balance. Containing warming vanilla this shot stimulates and increases circulation due to its spicy ingredients.
What i think of the product? I actually really enjoyed using this product and love the way it works. I think its very interesting that after applying the product all over your hair it starts to heat up, It doesn't get too hot but you can feel the warmth! I was very intrigued. It completely took away the feel of my straw like hair leaving it completely soft. The one thing i absolutely hate about this product is the way it comes in a weird tubed shaped package. I know Lee Stafford loves his packaging but i'm sure they could of thought of something better. Trying to get the product out of these tubes with wet hands is an utter nightmare! It was just impossible as the plastic is thick therefore its not so easy to squeeze out. Lots of product was left in the tube which was such a waste. The product is priced at £7.19 which is quite high end for a conditioning treatment but on the packaging i will not be buying again!
Has anyone else tried these hot shots? xxx
