Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This October it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month which is a month where the Breast Cancer organization are trying to raise funds and make people aware. There are many ways this month you can get involved and do your bit to help.

- You can get involved in the wear it pink day where you can team up with colleagues, family or friends, or all and wear something pink which can be anything i believe varying from nail varnish and makeup to pink clothing and accessories once you have done that all you have to do is donate £2 to Breast Cancer Campaign.

- You can get involved with the Estée Lauder Companies' Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign as they celebrate there19th year fighting against Breast Cancer. This year Estee Lauder are release 3 different pink ribbon products for Breast Cancer Awareness.

- The Estee Lauder Companions are also lighting up 200 global landmarks pink this October as a symbol of hope in the fight against Breast Cancer.But they don't want to stop there, they want to light up the whole world pink with the help of our words. If you head over to their Facebook page here you can help light up the place where you live on the Estee Lauder emptiness Breast anchor Illumination Map with a message of hope. "Together, we can shine a light on Breast Cancer, turning the whole-world pink!" 

-Smashbox are another company offering a product to helpout BCA this month. They are selling a 2011 BCA O-Gloss which is a clear to pink lip gloss and is selling for $22. The Great thing about this product is that the entire purchase price of this O-Gloss will be donatedto the Breast ancer Research Foundation between October 1st and October 31st 2011.

These are only a few ways i've come across of showing support, and i have wrote my message of hope, i am wearing pink nail varnish throughout October and i'm going to buy one of these products. I think BCA month is such a brilliant idea, helping men and women have the knowledge to check themselves and hopefully discovering early detection. Are any of you interested in getting involved?
